Info
Ajax in Iraq is a live performance interweaving the stories of Ajax, an ancient Greek warrior, and A.J., a modern American soldier, both grappling with betrayal and the psychological aftermath of war. The work uses an augmented reality layer styled as a livestream interface to critique the casual circulation of violence on social media, drawing from interviews with Iraq war veterans and their families.
